We had a very beautiful lady in the store today that said she left as a very happy customer.  Why you ask?  Because she entrusted us to fully wardrobe her.  It was a fun time dressing her from casual to very dressy.  She had an excellent attitiude and was open to new things going out of her "Box".  All in all a great time was had by all and now she doesn't need to stand in her closet and mindlessly stare at her clothing and not know where to start.

Are you a Brookfield customer?  Well make sure when you come in, you wish a Happy Birthday to two of the girls,  Katie and Sarah.  I personally don't have birthdays anymore so they are catching up to me fast!  Give them some grief, I can't be the only one who does!

Ok, it's a New Year, don't we all need a little good luck???  Gawd knows I do!  I'll get it whatever way I can!  I'm just sayin!

Here is one way I'm gonna share with you...

Say Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit on the first day of every month.  Being the first to say Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit to a person on the first day of the month will bring good luck to you.

Now, try this and please report back to me on whether it changed your luck for the month at the end of February.  I would love to hear that it works for someone.  Any better ideas.....please let me know.

Who doesn't love a diamond ring.  Well, let's face it, who can afford a diamond!! 

We have a diamond for you or your man to come in and buy for you.  And best part of it all, they are only $89 and too sheik for words!!  Layering different colors is a fabulous look.  The bands are made of a rubber material that is very comfortable to wear too.  They will go super fast because of the great price point for holiday gifts so get yours quick.

Hey all!  Big weekend coming up.  Do you have your Halloween costume?  It's getting close to countdown if your attending all the parties happening this weekend.  I've got one for you.  You don't want to spend money on a costume that your essentially just throwing away....well, here's the answer,

Come in, get yourself a pair of the sequin silver Toms that are "too cool" and you can wear every day, get yourself a Fedora hat that we have in the store, put some skinny black jeans on and some white socks and a red jacket and WALLAH! you have yourself a Michael Jackson costume that you can use every piece to everyday there after.

My best friend and I decided to take a trip down to Chicago last Saturday for a little lunch, a glass of wine and some retail therapy.  We started shopping at Nordstroms.   I couldn't believe, casually walking around the women's floor, how much of the merchandise they carry, we carry.  Elizabeth & James, Tory Burch, DVF, Haute Hippie...I can go on and on.  Niemans and Saks was the same story.  I was honestly a little surprised.  There were very few pieces, at least that I even cared to look at, that we didn't have.

Good thing was we got to spend more one on one time chatting and catching up and enjoying people watching.  Moral of the story: save the gas, train cost, cabs, 10% tax and painful feet...if your just looking for clothes (and an all around fabulous shopping experience) come to Fayes.

Ok!  Do you have your ticket to the next hottest event in Milwaukee?  Well, call us and we will hook you up!  What am I taking about?  The dinner at Harbor House Restaurant benefiting the Foundation for Children with Cancer featuring, yes, Gretchen and Slade of THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY.

If you are a follower of the Housewives then this is a must attend event!  If not, it will still be a really cool "who's-who night" of people watching and FABULOUS food!

Ok!  Every mom with kids is out there, buying everything for the kids.  It's that time of year. If you saw the Morning Blend on TV this morning we featured fabulous clothes for kids going back to school.  But hold on.  Lots of those clothes would look fab on the mom's too, just mixed in different ways!  So when you are in the store shopping for the kids, don't forget to get a little something for yourself.

Just think of how you could add these pieces to your wardrobe to mix it up!

Ok, my son got married this past weekend and I was blessed to have a most of the crew at Faye's attend.  One of the most memorable, beautiful days of my life!  And, on top of it, I gained a daughter!  So proud and full of joy for them and the future for my family. 

Now to a very important part of all of it.  Fashion.  OMG! The ladies looked OUTSTANDING!  And guess where they got their dresses?  Yes, Faye's.  You want to look the best at an event?  You know where to go!  I'm not saying, I'm just saying!!!

If your the kind of person who's ahead of the game, you'll know what I'm talking about.  If not, listen up.  It's time to go through your closet, pitch anything for fall that looks warn or used up.  Anything that was trendy and you didn't invest too much money in or is not a quality piece.   You can store away items that won't be in "style" this season, but you want to hold onto to because of sentimental or value reasons.  Are you keeping too many "someday" pieces i.e. fat clothes or skinny clothes.  If so, get rid of them!

Next,  analyze what's needed.  Are you in need of new jeans, sweaters, cardigans?  Basics like fresh tee shirts?  How are your work clothes?  Do you need new blouses?  Are the ones in your closet turning yellow?  How are your accessories?  Fresh new scarves, belts or shoes can make an outfit brand new and fresh again to repeat another season in.  Do you have all the "staples"?  A little sheath dress, simple black skirt, great pair of black dress pants that fit perfectly.  How about a boyfriend blazer?

Just as a reminder to all, we LOVE coming into your home and helping with your closet.  Please, just ask.  We can help you put things together that you would never have thought combining.  Plus, we will simplify all of this for you.  You can just sit back, have a cup of coffee and answer a few questions we ask.  ITS THAT SIMPLE.  And, I believe, truly pain free!

Ok, one of my most favorite trunk show events is coming to our Brookfield store July 14-18.  Yes, it's the Susana Monaco trunk show!  Now to give you the FYI on this line if you are not familiar with it, I believe it is one of the most versatile lines we carry.  It goes from the pool to a fancy dinner out and in some cases, I'm talking about the same piece!  The fabrics are fabulous, easy to care for, (just wash and air dry) and so incredibly comfortable to wear.  The colors are outstanding and the fit is to die for!  This is a must for you to put on your calendar and make time to come in and see and try on.

The other trunk show we have going on is the Isda line of clothing.  The line will be in the Brookfield store the 21st - 25th of July.  This line is truly made for the woman with curves! They also have great fabrics.  These are the basic that you need in your closet as an every day "go to" to look complete from head to toe.  When you take a pair of pants or shorts into the fitting room, you come out happy, how often does that happen???

Needless to say, it is well worth your time to come into the store and check it out, try it on and fall in love with the lines.

Trunk Shows...Trunk Shows...Trunk Shows!!!  We have them Galore!!! Everyone should be constantly in touch with our emails and website...you don't want to miss a show!

Ok, for those of you who don't know what a trunk show is all about, let me help. 

We get the designer to bring in their line of clothing...jewelry or whatever, for the season (i.e. their entire spring, summer, fall and holiday collection).  This gives you the chance to see the whole line, not just  the pieces we would try for the store...the whole nine yards.   Really, you get to be your own fashion buyer!  Depending on the show,  you may have the opportunity of choosing the color of the item you are interested in, if it comes in multiple colors or, like our Kalibre jewelry, customizing it for your exact wants.  It truly is such a treat!! 

Now when it comes to checking out, you only have to pay half as a deposit!  This is awesome in helping you budget for your wardrobe.  When your order comes in...you just pay the balance. 

Occasionally a trunk show is also cash and carry, so you can also get  your immediate fix!  I am certainly one of the immediate fix kinda gals!

Don't forget about our AVIVA ROSE JEWELRY TRUNK SHOW going on FRIDAY and SATURDAY the 3rd and 4th of JUNE in our Mequon store and coming to BROOKFIELD FRIDAY and SATURDAY the 10th and 11th!  It is sooo cool, please take the time to come in and see it.

Head to toe, I'm not sayin, I'm just saying!  We will take care of you from head to toe including makeup!!  Blush will be in to make anyone up with their beautiful lines of makeup.  They will be in the store on Friday from 1-4 and Saturday from 11-4.  They truly are artists!!  Whether its a beach hat (head), beautiful summer clothes, some of my faves are coming in, if you know me my biggest fave is  Susana Monaco (the absolute must have for summer clothing) or Skye tops, edgy, hip and summery to maxi dresses and maxi skirts (you have to add one this summer to your wardrobe!).  Then we can finish you up (toe, get it???) with great flip flops, driving mocs or to die for pumps!  REMEMBER Faye is giving 25% of your purchase to the school of your choice.  So nows the time to spend!

Ok, we're getting a taste of it.  Yes, I'm talking about the HEAT!!!!!  We don't need to leave the state to be warm.  Hallelujah!  And, of course, we have all of the fabulous pieces you need for summer.  Sweet Pea just rocks for those really hot days, it breathes so well.  Maxi skirts, white jeans, maxi dresses, flip flops and cropped jeans.  The best jewelry to make everyone finish their look.

Hey all,

Was at StyleMax this weekend and we are sooo getting in some FABULOUS merchandise.  Two items that I am so excited about are our Anoname Jeans with great blingy  studs and stitching on the back pockets!!! Too cool!!!

Also a MUST HAVE is the Invisibelt!!  Jen D. from Fayes brought this to my attention so when I saw them I just had to beg to get them for the store.  You know how we all have those tunics and longer tees and shirts that we don't want some big ol' bulky buckle sticking out from underneath? Well here is your answer!  Its the Invisibelt.  This stays really flat so your shirts and tunics lay flat but your jeans stay up!!!  Woohoo!!! Get them quick, I know they will fly when we get them in!!

What's the best accessory for drab late winter/pre-spring?  SCARVES!!!   We have them!!  Tons!  Bright beautiful colors that will charge your day and make you look fresh and fabulous!  We also have beautiful,  tee's to really brighten up your day and wrap a colorful scarf around a colorful tee that you will light up a room with.
